Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join the unit-based leadership team. You will supervise the nursing operations of a unit and assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.

The role focuses on a unit-specific patient population and requires a strong background in nursing, leadership, and clinical excellence. This is a critical, hands-on leadership position offering opportunities to advance patient care quality and staff

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
