The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years of clinical experience with at least one year in the specialty.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two years of clinical experience in the specialty.
• Current Georgia RN license (or NLC/eNLC).
• BLS certification.
• Color vision adequate for unit duties.
• Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations of the unit.
• Be part of unit-based leadership team.
• In the absence of Manager/Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Work with a unit-specific patient population.

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

1. Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
2. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association\'s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
