MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Clinical Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient/family-centered care 12-hour shifts. You will work under the Manager of Medical-Surgical Telemetry, follow the Watson Model of Care, and contribute to the hospital's mission and quality initiatives.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, with opportunities for growth through residency and training programs. Equal rights and diligent adherence to safety standards are emphasized throughout the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing degree preferred.
• Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent.
• Internal Candidates that have successfully completed the MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency Program will be considered

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates nursing process to anticipate and plan for patient/family needs.
• Nursing assessment focused on productive target areas; prioritizes and organizes care.
• Communicates SBAR during hand-offs and documents IPOC and care plans.
• Maintains patient safety, hygiene, and a clean environment complying with regulatory standards.
• Assists with unit orientation, equipment setup, and interdisciplinary discharge planning.
• Participates in Care Collaborative System training and testing.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

Formation
