Job summary

Haemonetics Corporation is seeking a Clinical Specialist to work with the Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager to identify clinical needs and demonstrate how Haemonetics products meet patient care goals within a defined geographic area.

The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in the medical industry, strong clinical orientation, and the ability to discuss interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of directly related experience in the medical industry.
• Strong clinical orientation with ability to discuss products and therapies.
• Experience with interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Territory Manager to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serves as the primary resource for clinical support in coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educates the customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.
• Informs the customer on the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry by engaging in procedural and technical discussion.
• Demonstrates the ability to link clinical data to key messaging.
• Meets with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and provide feasible solutions using company products.
• Transfers account knowledge to the local Territory Manager on a weekly basis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence various clinician, nurse, and lab tech personalities.
