Job summary

Orthofix is seeking a Clinical Specialist II to provide clinical, technical, and product knowledge support across designated accounts in the Northeast US. You will be a product expert, advising surgeons and OR staff on navigation technologies and system usage during surgeries.

The role requires 2–5 years in medical devices, nursing background, and travel across the United States. Expect hands-on training, on-site consultations, and collaboration with sales to grow case volumes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Nursing and other relevant fields.
• Two to five years of experience in medical device/navigation or related field.
• Experience in MRI & CT, intra-operative imaging, stereotactic navigation, optics, or robotics.
• Hands-on experience in a hospital or OR setting.
• Informatics experience – PACS, DICOM, networking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.
• Independent worker with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical support to physicians and OR personnel.
• Educate/train physicians and hospital staff on navigation technologies during installations and labs.
• Develop training resources for hospital staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons to obtain product feedback for development teams.
• Analyze and resolve product issues with deep product knowledge.
• Provide prompt customer support through a structured case process.
• Lead evaluations, labs, demos, and installations to demonstrate value.
• Train new Clinical staff on processes and responsibilities.
• Stay updated on 7D (SeaSpine) and competitive products through ongoing training.
• Support sales efforts with clinical expertise to develop opportunities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive account growth.
