Job summary

Orthofix Medical Technologies seeks a Clinical Specialist II to provide clinical, technical and product knowledge support to customers. You will train surgeons and staff during surgeries on navigation technologies, while building strong customer relationships and driving product adoption.

Minimum nursing degree with 2–5 years in medical devices, MRI/CT, PACS/DICOM, and hospital/OR experience are required. Travel nationwide is expected, including after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field required.
• 2–5 years in medical device/navigation or related field.
• Experience with MRI/CT, intra-operative imaging, robotics.
• Hands-on hospital/OR experience.
• Experience with informatics – PACS, DICOM, networking.
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consulting to physicians and OR staff to ensure correct product usage.
• Educate/train hospital personnel on navigation technologies during installations and labs.
• Develop training resources for hospital staff on product use.
• Lead evaluations, labs, demos and installations to demonstrate product value.
• Support sales efforts by coordinating with Area Sales Manager using clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive account growth and case volume.
