Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise store teams and support clinical goals under the Clinical Operations Department. You will often act as Manager on Duty to meet store and sales objectives while upholding high clinical standards.

You will train Doctor Technicians, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain detailed patient records as part of daily operations in an on-site store environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, direction and guidance to Doctor Technicians concerning diagnostic pre-testing, local mode, digital refraction and contact lens care.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and educate on products and services to drive satisfaction and sales.
• Drive sales to exceed revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Oversee training guidelines, procedures, protocols and clinical standards per Physicians Eyecare Group.
• Maintain accurate patient records with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens insertion/removal.
• Manage contact lens orders, diagnostic lens trials, and weekly inventory control.
