Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to supervise the store team and ensure clinical goals are met with guidance from the Clinical Operations Department. The role often acts as Manager on Duty to support store operations and sales objectives.

The ideal candidate has retail management or clinical leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail management or clinical leadership experience.
• Associate degree or higher certification, or currently enrolled in a related program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for exceptional patient care and willingness to mentor others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products/services to ensure a memorable experience.
• Drive store revenue while maintaining outstanding patient service.
• Resolve issues and coach staff on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on Diagnostic Pre-Testing, Local Mode and Digital Refraction, contact lens care and PEG clinical standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, protocols, and HIPAA-compliant practices are followed at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate patient records with confidentiality and privacy.
• Ensure brand standards and basic housekeeping duties are performed.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on insertion/removal of contact lenses for wearers.
• Oversee protocols for patient contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory.
