Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real-time documentation, joining exam rooms, and accurately recording encounters to help deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates will know medical terminology, communicate effectively, and speak additional languages as needed. This full-time on-site role offers a competitive hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits through CVS Health.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications, required
• Prior clinical experience, shadowing or volunteering, strongly preferred
• Prior scribe or transcription experience, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in a structured note with history, assessment, plan and exam
• Assigning CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Preparing After Visit Summaries
• Supporting daily huddles and clinical documentation reviews
• Administrative support for the care team and referrals
