Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine is seeking a Medical Student Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to oversee Phase 3 scheduling, course catalog development, and rotation assignments.

The role coordinates visiting and extramural experiences, ensures compliance with policies and accreditation, and supports student progression toward degree completion. The coordinator collaborates with academic departments, clinical partners, and administrative offices to maintain scheduling

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in academic administration, student services, registrar operations, or program coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in higher education administration, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual Phase 3 scheduling cycle and publish the Phase 3 course catalog for clinical science selectives, HSS selectives, and required Phase 3 courses.
• Maintain Phase 3 courses within the student information system and ensure accurate configuration and registration functionality.
• Administer VSLO processes, oversee visiting and extramural rotations, and manage extramural applications and documentation.
• Monitor student progress toward degree completion and maintain scheduling and enrollment records in institutional systems.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and departments to ensure compliance with policies and accreditation requirements.
