Job summary

Western University of Health Sciences is seeking a Rotations Coordinator I to support the Office of Academic Affairs within the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. The role coordinates clinical rotations, advises OMSIII/OMSIV students, and maintains relationships with campus faculty and rotation sites.

The coordinator helps ensure students complete core and elective rotations per the COMP curriculum, while collaborating with staff on ongoing projects and events.

Qualifications

• AA degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
• 2-3 years clerical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist OMSIII/OMSIV with scheduling of clinical and virtual rotations and ensure site eligibility requirements.
• Advise and assist students in selecting and securing rotations; follow up on rotation status.
• Ensure rotation confirmations and provide necessary information to commence and complete rotations (location, onboarding, orientation).
• Handle urgent student issues and coordinate adjustments to rotations and schedules as needed.
• Provide data entry support across COMP databases and train on application services (VSAS, ClinicianNexus, MyClinicalExchange).
