Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a confident and knowledgeable Clinical Resource Nurse to oversee operations within our nursing departments. Reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and drives adherence to long-term care standards.

The role requires an RN with a nursing degree, CPR, and at least 3 years of skilled nursing experience. You will partner with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree/registration required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years in a nursing role in SNF or related care facility.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and OBRA/Regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Nursing Services operations for compliance with state and federal laws.
• Interpret and communicate policies to nursing leadership; monitor staff practices.
• Audit meetings and monitor census, resident status, complaints or concerns.
• Participate in QA/QI activities and facility assessments as needed.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage and maintains quality resident care across units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve service quality.
• Promote infection control and conduct rounds to observe care delivery.
