Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN (Montana or compact) in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
• Demonstrated understanding of nursing principles, practices and procedures.
• Effective communication to coordinate with Health Team.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional conduct reflecting high nursing standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients, staff and physicians.
• Maintain punctuality, attendance and ongoing continuing education.
• Ensure confidentiality of patients, physicians and staff.
• May function as Charge Nurse, Medication Nurse or ER Nurse as needed.
• Oversee and evaluate patient care and delegate shift responsibilities.
• Facilitate discharges, transfers and admissions; supervise staff.
• Orient new licensed staff and monitor orientation of aides.
