Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse in California. The RN must lead Directors of Nursing, optimize clinical operations, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as DON or equivalent in long-term care, CA RN license, CPR, and willingness to travel frequently among sites. This on-site role focuses on coaching, process improvement, and staff development within a multi-site system.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in California and CPR certification.
• Minimum 5 years of DON experience in long-term care.
• Multi-site DON experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site reviews of clinical operations, medical records, and staff performance.
• Mentors Directors of Nursing and guides clinical leadership.
• Educates staff on clinical and regulatory issues and facility policies.
• Supports QA/QI programs and root-cause analyses.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance within the nursing departments.
• Traveling between assigned facilities to support operations.
