Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Clinical Program Director to lead compliance with mandated clinical interventions across the medical center. You will oversee operations, policy implementation, and program data analysis to support senior management decisions and service improvements.

The role requires an RN with NY registration, advanced nursing education, and leadership experience in quality programs. Strong collaboration with nursing, medical leadership, and departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing and Master’s degree in nursing or health-related specialty required; doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State.
• Professional Board Certification in leadership and/or clinical specialty is strongly preferred.
• BLS via American Heart Association
• ONC Cert recommended

Responsibilities

• Provides coordination and leadership in execution of program activities, core measures and clinical intervention compliance activity.
• Develops action plans to support compliance with measures indicators.
• Provides support and educational resources to departments and services relative to core measures quality assessment and improvement processes.
• Establishes and implements short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures for core measures programs.
• Oversees compilation and analysis of clinical program activity data; may serve as point of contact for data collection inquiries.
• Selects, hires and trains staff including RN Clinical Coordinators and administrative personnel; develops competencies for coordinators.
• Provides technical assistance, resource services, consultation and education.
• Participates in quality management activities and identifies performance improvement opportunities.
