Job summary

The Clinical Program Manager at Mount Sinai Health System ensures compliance with mandated orientation, competency assessment and performance improvement for nursing staff within the assigned clinical program. You will interface with Nursing, Medical and Quality leadership to align education, care delivery, and patient outcomes with organizational standards.

This role leads staff recruitment, onboarding, coaching and evaluation, develops SOPs, manages budgets, and collaborates to implement

Qualifications

• Requires Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing; Masters preferred.
• 5 years related experience; NY State License with current registration as RN.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program and ensures initiatives align with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, and evaluates staff per internal policies.
• Develops and maintains departmental budget with financial oversight.
• Plans, develops, and maintains SOPs; reviews policies and implements changes as needed.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with nursing, medical, and quality leadership.
• Establishes goals and operating procedures for high performance in nursing care delivery.
• Coordinates and leads day-to-day educational program activities for the program.
