Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.
• 5 years directly related experience; New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse. Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations and ensures initiatives follow policies and regulations.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff per internal policies.
• Plans, maintains departmental budgets and SOPs.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with Nursing, Medical and Quality Leadership.
• Analyzes clinical program activity data to evaluate performance and competence.
• Prepares reports on orientation, competency and outcomes.
