Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks a program coordinator for the Next Steps North Program and Vocational Services, overseeing a large Opioid Treatment Program. The role ensures compliant operation across wellness centers and treatment programs, coordinating staff, policies and data reporting.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work or related field, QHP status, and strong supervision and organizational skills; Spanish proficiency is preferred. Grant-funded with day shift options.

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP).
• Experience in training and supervising staff.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment; experience with marginalized populations preferred.
• Experience with databases, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical policies, protocols and programs for Next Steps and Vocational Staff.
• Develop systems for timeliness and quality of documentation.
• Oversee admission paperwork reviews and chart management.
• Implement utilization review and quality improvement plans.
• Provide training and supervision to counseling and vocational staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Develop vocational services and recruitment strategies across sites.
• Monitor data collection and reporting to OASAS.
