Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Division of Services for Addiction seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee daily operations of a large Opioid Treatment Program and an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program. The role reports to the Site Director and ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local standards.

Requirements include a NY-licensed Master's in Social Work or related field, QHP status, and experience in training staff; Spanish speaking preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP).
• CASAC preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required with license in New York State.
• Experience in training and supervising staff.
• Must possess good interpersonal, communication and group facilitation skills; able to work in a collaborative team.
• Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment; experience with marginalized populations preferred.
• Experience with databases, including Excel.
• Regular hours 6:30am – 2:30pm with potential additional shifts and DOSA locations.
• 100% grant funded position.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the management of fiscal operations, including supervising accounting clerks, collecting payments, meeting with patients who are fiscally non compliant and cashing out.
• Assists in the review and management of incidents, loitering, incident reports, patient non compliance to ensure that all clinical issues are addressed.
• Meet with patients in IDCs and refer patients to Next Steps as appropriate, other higher level of care, or discharge.
• Assist in the management of time cars/UKG.
• Assists in the development of systems to collect, monitor and report required data to OASAS.
• Assists in the management of facility issues and conduct required drills.
• Assists in clinic staffing (vacation, counselor of the day, community tours, toxicology testing, backup counselor schedule, phone coverage, Saturday coverage, group schedule).
• Act as Site Director in his/her absence.
