Job summary

Montefiore Division of Services for Addiction seeks a Clinical Manager to coordinate the Opioid Treatment Program at the Port Morris site, overseeing daily operations, admissions, and supervision of counseling staff across two shifts.

You will contribute to policy development, ensure accurate billing and documentation, monitor reporting to regulatory agencies, and collaborate with leadership to maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
• Qualified Health Professional (QHP) required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Experience training and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment.
• Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
• Strong management and supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and Excel for tracking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily management of the Opioid Treatment Program with up to 1,000 patients.
• Review staff documentation and admissions.
• Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies, protocols, and programs.
• Review weekly billing and ensure treatment plans are in effect.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train counseling staff.
• Monitor STARS, HERDS, and Lighthouse census management.
• Assist in fiscal operations and cash handling; engage with non-compliant patients.
• Manage timecards/UKG and data reporting to OASAS.
• Participate in case conferences and CQI meetings.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling across shifts.
