Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in Holyoke, MA seeks a Clinical Program Manager to lead the Low Threshold Housing program, implementing housing first, harm-reduction, and trauma-informed care. You will guide staff and connect participants to mental health, primary care, and substance use resources.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 5 years of clinical and supervisory experience, CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a professional field (e.g., MSW) with at least 5 years of clinical experience and supervisory background.
• Deep knowledge of homelessness, addictions, crisis management, and trauma-informed care.
• CPR & First Aid Certification and a valid driver’s license for occasional client transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership and ensure sheltering practices align with housing first and harm reduction.
• Supervise and develop staff including case managers and direct care staff; conduct supervision and evaluations.
• Oversee site operations, scheduling, and ensure BSAS standards and contract guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate with administration, HR, and facilities; liaise with city offices on compliance.
