Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) in Hartford, CT is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for the Community Transitional Living Program (CTLP). This role supports the Program Manager in day-to-day scheduling and team management and also serves as direct care staff, modeling professionalism and promoting house culture.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 2+ years experience with psychiatric disorders, strong organizational and communication skills; valid driver's license and vehicle;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring populations.
• Superior organizational and communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle.
• Approved criminal background and driving check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Manager with day-to-day scheduling and team management.
• Serve as direct care staff and model professional behavior for staff.
• Promote house culture and demonstrate responsibility and attention to detail.
• May be used as a stepping stone for direct care staff to develop management abilities.
