Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Residential Care Supervisor to oversee clinical and administrative supervision of program-based residential care counselors on a 24-hour basis. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field.
• Minimum three years of progressive clinical experience in psychiatric child care; two years in a therapeutic community milieu.
• Two years of demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory potential.
• Supervises up to 12 FTEs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision of residential care counselors on a 24-hour basis.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Support patient safety and implement learning opportunities for staff.
• Promote compliance with Joint Commission, RI DDD requirements, and hospital policies.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and participate in clinical rounds.
