Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Residential Care Supervisor for the Rumford, RI facility to lead residential care counselors and ensure high-quality, compliant care. Responsibilities include staffing, training, and coordinating clinical activities with the Clinical Director while modeling our core values and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a Human Services field with leadership experience; BCBA/LBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of progressive clinical experience in psychiatric child care.
• Two years of demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory potential.
• BCBA and/or LBA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Applies hospital values and ensures safety, quality, and compliance in all activities.
• Manages personnel actions: hiring, orientations, performance appraisals, promotions, scheduling, and discipline.
• Provides training and development opportunities; coaches staff and ensures certifications are completed on time.
• Communicates clinical and administrative findings to Clinical Director and staff; coordinates staffing for medical appointments.
