Job summary

Herzing University in Detroit is seeking a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator to manage student clinical placements and ensure regulatory compliance across the Florida region, reporting to the Director of Clinical Placement & Compliance.

The role coordinates placement activities with clinical partners and university stakeholders, maintains documentation, and supports students and faculty to ensure timely, compliant experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years' experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education setting.
• Prior experience in clinical coordination, healthcare administration, higher education operations, or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical education environments, regulatory requirements, or accreditation standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student clinical placements to ensure preparedness for clinical coursework.
• Maintain accurate placement records to ensure experiences meet hours and timelines.
• Evaluate placement capacity and assign students based on program/site requirements.
• Provide guidance on clinical requirements, timelines, and progression.
• Prioritize placement issues based on program needs and stakeholder impact.
• Follow site protocols when assigning students to clinical experiences.
• Assess placement challenges and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Support compliance processes and maintain documentation to deadlines.
