Job summary

CVHS Health Services is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Services Representative in New Canton, VA. This role acts as a primary contact for patients and clinic staff to optimize access to clinical pharmacy services and to support pharmacists in medication management.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with common computer programs and EMRs. Pharmacy tech license is preferred but not required, with on‑the‑job training available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician License (preferred, not required)
• On-the-job training and experience under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and clinic staff in managing medication therapy and access to clinical services.
• Handle prior authorizations, Medicare wellness scheduling, and medication history reviews.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and serve as a key link between patients and medication needs.
