Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is hiring a Clinical Manager, Patient Services in Louisiana with a hybrid schedule and 50% travel across LA and MS. You will lead a team of Pharmacy Liaisons, drive patient-focused clinic operations, and ensure adherence to best practices in specialty pharmacy management.

The role requires a PharmD or equivalent, a licensed pharmacist, and several years of healthcare experience with strong leadership and coaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in healthcare setting required.
• 5+ years in healthcare/pharmacy with direct patient contact.
• Experience in outpatient/clinic setting a plus.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Specialty Liaison team to deliver high-quality patient experiences in clinic settings.
• Coach and develop liaison staff while upholding Shields culture.
• Provide ongoing performance coaching and professional development to teams.
• Coordinate communications among liaison teams, pharmacy, and clinics.
• Meet or exceed site targets for service, growth, and patient outcomes.
• Identify and implement process improvements with health system partners.
• Ensure accountability and best practices for prior authorizations and patient outreach.
• Maintain effective relationships with clinic leadership and pharmacy teams.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on growth initiatives and launches.
• Provide regular performance updates to Shields leadership.
