Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Kentucky or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosing, and safety.
• Ability to review prescriptions and provide patient-focused guidance.

Responsibilities

• Document clinical activities and interventions such as consults and patient teachings.
• Interpret medication orders for interactions and appropriate therapy; enter/verify orders in computer system.
• Verify medications prepared by other staff and dispense accurately.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge base to provide clinical services across patient age groups.
• Operate and Troubleshoot automated systems as needed.
