Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required at hire.
• Doctor of Pharmacy required at hire.
• Pharmacist licensed in KY at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for drug interactions and dosing and verify orders in the computer system.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals to ensure appropriate outcomes.
• Document clinical activities and interventions such as consults and patient education per policy.
• Verify medications prepared by pharmacy staff and ensure timely dispensing.
• Maintain knowledge to provide services across all age groups and operate automated systems.
