Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions in queue for safety and dosing.
• Authorize prescriptions for pharmacy technicians with final check before dispensing.
• Document clinical activities and interventions.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals; resolve drug-related problems.
• Maintain knowledge base to provide clinical services across all ages.
• Stay updated on automated systems.
