Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and monitoring to ensure safe drug therapy and optimal patient outcomes. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, manage drug interactions, and support quality initiatives in a 200+ bed facility.

Requirements include KY licensure or eligibility, 1 year hospital experience or equivalent, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

Current KY Pharmacist licensure or eligible for licensure.
One-year hospital experience or equivalent.
Hospital pharmacy residency preferred.
Excellent communication and computer skills.
ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
Doctorate Degree, or Bachelors Degree.

Responsibilities

Provide pharmaceutical care to ensure safe and effective drug therapy.
Monitor and intervene in therapeutics for optimum outcomes.
Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions and drug interactions.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives, inventory and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
Maintain documentation using computerized systems.
Apply age-specific knowledge in duties and responsibilities.
