$58.00 - $89.90 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Per Diem - as needed
• Hours: Rotating Shifts, Weekends, and holidays

What You Will Need

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
• Education: BLS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience – limited time away from institutional practice
• Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

What You Will Do

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
• Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
