• Identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related problems
• Provide authoritative information to health care professionals, patients, and the public
• Ensure integrated, patient-centered pharmacy services across NM
• Transfer prescriptions with proper documentation
• Perform final audit on prescriptions filled by technicians
• Supervise ancillary staff, students, and technicians
• Complete incident reports for prescription errors within 24 hours
• Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy and pharmacy equipment
• Train other pharmacy personnel and participate in staff meetings
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and health care professionals
• Manage inventory and understand third-party prior authorization requirements
• Document changes in EMR and Therapy Management System
• Notify in case of licensure/certification status change
• Coordinate medication orders with prescribers, nursing, and pharmacists
