Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist - ED for South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. This full-time exempt role features a 7 on, 7 off shift pattern with every-other weekend and no on-call requirements.

The pharmacist will support patient safety and cost management by resolving drug-related issues, while collaborating with the hospital and pharmacy teams. Florida licensure is required; PharmD and ASHP residency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Florida Pharmacist license required.
• ASHP PGY1 residency preferred.

Clinical Pharmacist Position Details

• Facility: South Florida Baptist Hospital
• Location: Plant City, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable - 7 on, 7 off
• Weekend Work: Every other
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications And Licensure

• Required : Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred : Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Requirements

• Required : Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred : PharmD, Acute Care Experience
