Job summary

BayCare Health System in Safety Harbor, FL, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist who is dedicated to exceptional patient service and medication safety. This full-time exempt role supports hospital operations and the pharmacy department in preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

The position requires State of Florida Pharmacist licensure, a Bachelor's degree (PharmD preferred) and completion of ASHP-accredited residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Active State of Florida Pharmacist license is required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; PharmD preferred for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Support hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug-related problems to assure patient safety, improve satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist Position Details

• Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital
• Location: Safety Harbor, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable / 8-12hr shifts
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Certifications And Licensure

• Required : Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred : Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

• Preferred : PharmD, Acute Care Experience
