Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - ED for the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. The role is full-time exempt with a 7 on / 7 off shift and alternating weekends.

The pharmacist will focus on preventing and resolving drug-related problems to enhance patient safety, satisfaction and cost efficiency while supporting the hospital pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in the State of Florida is required.
• ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• PharmD and Acute Care Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The clinical pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety improve patient satisfaction and minimize costs.

Clinical Pharmacist position details:

• Facility: South Florida Baptist Hospital
• Location: Plant City, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: Variable - 7 on, 7 off
• Weekend Work: Every other
• On Call: No

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist – State of FL
• Preferred: Completion of ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
