Job summary

Medpace is seeking a Site Payment Analyst to join our Clinical Operations team in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on processing Investigator Grant payments and supporting Rev Rec, including estimation, analysis, and forecasting of IG revenue and expenses.

You will develop IG budgets for new projects via the RFP process, prepare KPI reports, and collaborate across departments to fulfill internal and external requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Clinical research and/or healthcare experience is desired but not required.
• Ability to analyze complex data relationships and forecast Rev Rec.
• Clearly present complex topics to diverse audiences in both oral and written form.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically and make decisions with limited information.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Budget/proposal management experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and drug development services desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze IG cost estimates/budgets for Phase I-IV projects from RFP to completion.
• Coordinate calculation of periodic payments to investigators.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly IG project evaluation—estimation, analysis, and forecasting of IG revenue/expenses.
• Prepare and analyze KPI reports for trends and escalate issues for resolution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to fulfill requests.
