Job summary

Vivo Infusion is seeking a Clinical Service Specialist in Ann Arbor, MI to support infusion center operations, scheduling, and benefits verification. The role emphasizes patient-facing administrative tasks, accurate documentation, and compliance with privacy regulations.

You will collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure timely treatments, manage front-end workflows, and handle billing-related activities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment, required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience, preferred.
• 1 year working with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing, preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, required.
• Active CPR/BLS prior to starting work, required.

Responsibilities

• Manages all front-end operations of the infusion center, including calls, patient greeting, payments, deliveries, and mail handling.
• Review and reschedule patient cancellations; notify Clinical Operations Manager and nursing staff; remind patients of appointments.
• Process invoices, verify accuracy, obtain payment authorization with Clinic Manager, and forward to Accounts Payable.
• Schedule follow-up infusions with Patient Care Navigator team to coordinate care.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain and file medical records; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
