Job summary

Allina Health in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to supervise patient care, clinical operations, and partner with site leadership to drive high-quality outcomes. This 1.0 FTE role supports staffing, training, budget management, and daily operations to sustain exceptional clinical performance.

The position offers an 8-hour day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends; may involve supervising a remote workforce.

Qualifications

• Associate degree Nursing or related field with a minimum of 3 years of hospital or clinic RN experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field with a minimum of 2 years RN experience (preferred).
• 2+ years supervisory experience (preferred).
• Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license in MN/WI as applicable; BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) or in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily operations and staff.
• Supervises and understands the scope of practice of patient care delivery by staff.
• Hires, manages, leads and engages staff to drive performance.
• Ensures orientation and clinical training for staff.
• Builds and retains engaged staff using engagement data and tools.
• Supports staff volumes and budget/capital requests.
• May manage a remote workforce.
• Partners with site leadership to develop, implement and evaluate patient care delivery processes.
• Empowers staff to resolve patient complaints and improve service recovery.
• Supports quality goals by removing barriers and ensuring training.
