Job summary

Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking a Sr. Practice Manager to lead complex clinical programs, supervise staff across sites, and collaborate with business units.

The role focuses on operations, staffing, budgeting, and process improvements to enhance patient access and care delivery. This position requires a Bachelor's degree, several years in healthcare, and prior management experience in a clinical/outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MHA preferred.
• 5 years health care experience, 2 years management experience.
• Experience working in a clinical environment and outpatient setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities; excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-line non-exempt staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Schedule staff and allocate resources to maximize patient access, provider productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee supply purchasing within budget and report monthly productivity to providers and staff.
• Ensure accurate data collection and communication with Central Office; monitor compliance and flow of information.
• Lead cash management, copays, balances and deposits to support profitability.
• Participate in corporate committees and provide financial analysis for planning and cash flow.
• Communicate budgets, variances, and performance goals to the team.
