Job summary

Scan.com is building America's national imaging network to connect patients, providers, and payers for faster, higher-quality diagnostic imaging. As a Clinical Operations Specialist, you’ll ensure data accuracy across imaging and reports while responding to clients and coordinating with internal teams to keep information up to date.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with radiology groups and other departments, and applying HIPAA knowledge to protect patient information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and workflow.
• Team player with collaborative mindset in study management.
• Attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
• Familiarity with radiology workflows and basic technical concepts.
• Resilience and willingness to improve with feedback.
• Ability to use MS Excel, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure diagnostic imaging and reports match the scheduled appointments in our database and records.
• Focus on the quality of information and ensure 100% accuracy in communications.
• Coordinate with other departments, manage requests, and provide concise written updates.
• Update clients on the status of patient records primarily via email, with occasional phone calls.
• Communicate with Radiology groups to escalate priority or answer questions on appointment details.
• Troubleshoot and triage technical issues to route to the appropriate team.
• Respond to ad hoc client inquiries.
• Handle sensitive data in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
