Job summary

Scan.com is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team in the United States. You will be the stateside representative for the Patient Services/Case Operations, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure accurate processing of patient cases and adherence to HIPAA and insurance procedures.

In this role you will perform QA checks, flag discrepancies, manage offshore teams, maintain case communications with law firms, clinics, and payers, and own

Qualifications

• HIPAA knowledge and terminology.
• Experience with electronic health/medical record systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage high-volume patient updates using multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Checks
• Pattern Recognition / Discrepancy Flagging
• Offshore leadership
• Strong relationship development with internal cross-functional teams and market leads
• Case communications with external partners (law firms, clinics, third-party companies)
• Identify patterns/discrepancies proactively to avoid reactive responses
• Ownership of metrics (phones, emails, QA/send, case updates) specific to the assigned market/brand
• Project ownership — development of processes, plan/time management of expected finish, ability to pivot as changes present themselves
