Responsibilities

• Assists with managing expectations around pre- and post-patient care.
• Obtains and reviews patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Reviews clinical records for completeness including authorization and signatures.
• Answers phones, triages calls, directs inquiries, and documents messages.
• Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies.
• Develops effective communication with physicians, managers, peers, and staff.
