Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the Day shift to lead nursing teams, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate clinical operations in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will collaborate with unit leadership to implement care plans and staff development.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and 2+ years of clinical nursing with supervisory experience. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Is responsible and accountable for staff quality and functions during shift; assists the Department Director in daily operations.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel; ensures efficient use of time, equipment and staff.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice; continually assess care and guide staff to adjust the plan of care.
