Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center in Northern California is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN to support both administrative and clinical functions within the department. You will work with the unit Director and Manager, developing plans, overseeing staff orientation, and ensuring quality care during shifts.

This full-time, day-shift role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and pediatric competencies as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS certification (30 days upon hire) for ER/ICU/Telemetry
• BSN preferred; RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred
• PALS within 30 days of hire for units admitting pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibilities for the department and collaborate with the unit Director/Manager
• Develop and implement departmental plans and performance improvement activities
• Coordinate orientation and training of personnel and ensure quality of staff during shifts
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally
