Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to support administrative responsibility for the department and collaborate with the unit Director. You will help develop and implement department plans, conduct orientation and training, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibilities for the department service functions.
• Develop and implement departmental plans and performance improvement activities.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Ensure quality and efficient department operations; supervise and evaluate staff.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
