Job summary

Responsibilities

• Taking, recording, reporting vital signs accurately
• Assisting with total ADL care, including bowel/bladder management, feeding, and repositioning
• Assisting with hoyer lift transfers and wheelchair usage; providing safe environments; hourly rounds; other duties as directed by RNs or providers
• Initiating emergency action in life-threatening situations and notifying licensed personnel
• Performing EKGs; documenting ADL care provided
• Obtaining specimens, labeling and preparing specimens for transport; Blood Glucose testing; cleaning/disinfecting rooms/medical equipment after patient use
• Promoting to full performance level after meeting regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements
