Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Adjunct Faculty member to deliver didactic, clinical, and skills lab instruction in alignment with its values of Passion, Excellence, Adaptability, Accountability and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; nursing degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care
• Teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred
• Current unencumbered RN license or compact licensure for teaching location
• Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in area of nursing preferred
• Maintains professional competence through ongoing practice, education, conferences, and research

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, teaches, and evaluates the nursing program’s philosophy and objectives.
• Designs and revises curriculum and assessments; leads simulations in the Nursing Lab.
• Teaches in didactic settings and evaluates students in class; creates effective learner environments.
• Supports student progression and remediation plans; uses diverse assessment tools.
• Collaborates with Course Lead Faculty to develop student success plans and address at‑risk students.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the dean.
• Facilitates clinical practice applications and participates in clinical site orientation and evaluations
• Ensures adherence to program policies and FERPA guidelines
