Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Core Nursing Faculty member to provide instruction, mentor, and contribute to curriculum development across didactic and clinical settings. The role emphasizes leadership in nursing education, maintaining program outcomes, and applying professional standards.

The position requires a graduate degree in nursing or related field, an active RN license, and strong collaboration with faculty and clinical partners to support student success and program excellence.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree required; if the graduate degree is not in nursing, a Bachelor’s in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program are required.
  • Current unencumbered RN license or enhanced compact nurse licensure for the teaching location is required.
  • Certified Nurse Educator certification and/or national certification in nursing specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction to facilitate students’ achievement of course objectives.
  • Engage in scholarly and service activities to promote professional development.
  • Lead and contribute to curriculum design, program evaluation, and annual revisions.
  • Oversee nursing didactic, clinical, and skills lab teaching; mentor faculty, adjuncts, and students.
  • Maintain FERPA compliance and professional conduct in all interactions.
