Salary Range

$76,396.32 - $126,730.61

The clinical nurse contributes to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Recognizes and appreciates that each employee’s work is valuable and contributes to the success of the Mission.

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by policy and regulations.
2. Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
3. Assessing patient needs and responses to care.
4. Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions.
5. Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
6. Administering medications as ordered.
7. Collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care.
8. Guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining nursing standards.
9. Cross-training in both High Risk Antepartum Unit (D6N) and Labor and Delivery (D6E).
10. Routine assignment to either unit (D6N/D6E).
